Daniel Tucker is a painter, book artist and poet living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 1976 he founded, with Claire Owen, the Turtle Island Press, a private press specializing in the production of original artist’s books since 1976. 40 titles were produced in 40 years.
He is the Founder, together with Tini and Einen Miura, of The American Academy of Bookbinding in Telluride, CO
He is the Founder of the Ah Haa School for the Arts in Telluride, CO
